Last week, Year 3 spent a Stone Age day at Brackenhurst Education Centre. They had a fantastic time doing a whole range of activities. In the morning, we walked out to the woods and sat around the camp discussing the different eras. Then we used tools to saw and drill wooden medallions, painted walls like Early Man did and also built animal enclosures to keep our animals in.
After a well-earned lunch, we decorated out medallions, made clay pots and oh yes….recreated Stonehenge! Have a look…
