This week, Year 3 had a brilliant time spending the day back in the Stone Age! We were met by a Stone Age woman, Liz who led us to the campfire and discussed with us all things Stone Age!
We began with teaming up as Sun, Moon and Mountain Tribes and building our shelters. Great teamwork was shown and they were soon built! We then sawed medallions, weaved animal pens and painted using our fingers.
After a much looked forward to lunch, we decorated our medallions, made some clay pots and figured out how to make a Stone Henge model.
We all had a wonderful day, many thanks to our fantastic parents who all got stuck in and supported the groups. We really couldn’t do these visits without the extra adults so they were very much appreciated 🙂
