What a wonderful, fun day of reading we had today! There were two performances of Jack and the Beanstalk – the characters played by both staff and children! This story was also innovated by The Rainbow Fish (FS2) group, becoming Sammy and the sunflower. The Caterpillar Group (FS1) enjoyed two stories from Ghana about Anansi the spider and created their own story maps. The Gruffalo Group listened to Ten in a Bed loving the rhythm of the story. The children also looked brilliant in their costumes and enjoyed admiring each other.
