The aim of the Governing Body is to help the academy provide the best possible Catholic education for pupils.
They operate at a strategic level with 3 core functions to monitor:
- The Catholic life of the school
- Standards (attainment, progress, curriculum provision)
- Pastoral care and welfare of the pupils (including safeguarding)
We currently have a local governing body which comprises of:
Four Foundation Governors, appointed by the Bishop of Nottingham and One Parent Governor, elected by parents to act as a representation for the parents of the governing body
Our Head Teacher is required to attend all LGB Meetings
It is a requirement that Schools publish information on websites with regard to Governor attendance to Local Governing Body meetings and if our Governors have any Business and Pecuniary Interest.
